Review: The Bride of Frankenstein, 1935
Doctor Frankenstein and his monster both turn out to be alive, not killed as previously believed. Doctor Frankenstein wants to get out of the evil experiment business, but then mad scientist, Doctor Pretorius, kidnaps his bride, and Frankenstein agrees to help him create new creature, a woman, to be the companion of the monster. Regarded as the best of the Frankenstein films. Overall, for its time, The Bride of Frankenstein is a true classic, and it is a movie you can still watch many times. I rate it as a 4 star horror film. |
